Our Story
KID-CAN CONSULTING INC. was founded on a simple belief: continuous improvement should be practical, data-driven, and accessible to organizations of all sizes.
After years of leading and facilitating improvement initiatives in Alberta’s oil field and construction sectors, we recognized a gap — teams needed real, hands-on support to understand their processes, eliminate waste, and solve the right problems.
KID-CAN was created to bridge that gap.

Canning
Brent Canning is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and seasoned Continuous Improvement Specialist with a proven track record of helping teams solve problems, streamline operations, and improve how work gets done.
With years of hands-on experience supporting major industrial and construction operations in Alberta — including roles in continuous improvement, business process advisory, and operations — Brent brings both practical knowledge and real industry insight to every engagement. His coaching and facilitation style is collaborative and grounded.

Brent believes that improvement succeeds when people understand why a process works the way it does, not just what needs to change.
Whether leading root cause analysis, optimizing complex workflows, guiding business process design, or coaching leaders through real improvement projects applying Lean Six Sigma methodologies, Brent’s focus is always the same: clarity, capability, and measurable results.
